We are extremely saddened to report the death last week of Stuart Laidlaw, Photographer at the Institute of Archaeology, University College London since 1979. He touched the hearts and minds of many many people, not only generations of students at the Institute but also participants of short courses on Digital Photography which he ran annually for IAP for 25 years in London or elsewhere including Sri Lanka, Tenerife, the British Library, Bletchley Park etc.
He was one of the most generously spirited people … always available and able to assist everyone who required his expertise and skill. We will miss his optimism, cheerfulness and humour greatly.
The online course on Bronze Conservation (Bronze Behaving Badly) is available several times a year. Check forthcoming courses
