International Academic Projects

statue-fixInternational Academic Projects Ltd (IAP) was formed in London in 1989 as an international educational charity whose aims are to help promote education, training and research into conservation, archaeology, anthropology and other related fields. The activities of International Academic Projects include the organisation and management of short professional development courses, distance learning and consultancy.

The majority our courses are subjects related to the care, examination and conservation of art and antiquities. Many take place in Britain between June through August. The duration of these courses, led by international experts, varies between one and five days.

IAP also co-operates with institutions and colleagues abroad tPigmentso provide training courses for museum, conservation and archaeological personnel. Courses outside of the UK have been held in Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Croatia, Denmark, Finland, France, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland and the USA,
